Item Descriptions:
Dungeons and Dragons Basic Rules - The Blue Book
This is the extremely rare 2nd print of the D&D Basic Rule Set, from 1979, known by collectors as "The Blue Book".
This copy is fairly good condition considering it is well over 40 years old. The cover is worn, particularly down the spine, which has ripped loose from the staples. Inside pages are a little discoloured from age and slightly dog eared but all intact and solid. Oddly the staples inn this copy show very little of the expected rust. Please see pictures and ask for more info if required.
AC4 The Book of Marvelous Magic
One of the earliest supplement books published by TSR for AD&D in 1985.
All the miscellaneous magical items from the D&D Basic, Expert and Companion sets plus 500 new items.
Choices range from the useful (Cleats of Gripping) to the damned silly (Armchair of Ugliness).
As you'd expect for a soft back over 35 years old there are quite a few noticeable creases and stains to the cover - see photos. Internally it is complete and solid with no creases, tears or writing in evidence.
I13 Adventure Pack 1
This is a fairly rare 1987 reference book. It contains 12 stand alone adventure for various levels.
These are more rounded adventures than the Book Of Lair series, much bigger and more complex.
It's been put together as a DMs aid, giving you access to nice stories to drop into any campaign.
Levels vary, but they are all built in a way that allow you to scale the difficulty up or down easily.
This copy is in excellent condition, a couple of marks on the cover only.
AD&D - The Complete Paladin's Handbook
Second Edition source book for Holy Warriors.
This is one of the series of character class expansion books published between 1989 and 1995.
Early books - Fighter, Wizard, Thief etc. are still fairly common, having remained in print for 7 or 8 years, but the later publications - Druid, Ninja, Paladin and Barbarian, had a much shorter print life and, as such, are much harder to find.
This copy of Paladin is in fantastic condition, with no significate faults found.
Chronomancer
1995 2nd Edition accessory introduces the Chronomancer character class.
This 96 page book goes into almost mind bending depth to describe these time wizards.
The class is very powerful, but very difficult to play and to DM as all the magic is time manipulation - paradoxes abound.
SOLD
College Of Wizardry
This 96 page 2nd Edition book gives you a complete Guild of Magic, fully formed and useable in any campaign setting.
The College of Wizardry, maps, members and history are all laid out.
Instructions on how to incorporate it into any of the TSR campaign settings.

Dragonlance - The Guide Book To Taladas
This is the 112 page main source book from the 1989 Time Of The Dragon boxed adventure.

It's a very different setting, and this book is all you need to use it in your Dragonlance campaign.
The history, geography, races and politics of Taladas are all covered here.
The book is very nice appart from the back cover which a bit creased and scuffed.
REF3 - The Book Of Lairs
The original Book of Lairs from 1986 was to spawn many sequels - an essential DMs aid, it presents over 60 mini-adventures that can be dropped into virtually any campaign, or just add flavour to a long journey.
Very useful accessory.
Condition of this copy is excellent - see pictures - only a couple of tiny scuffs to the spine stop me saying Near Mint...

Designed to be inserted into existing campaigns for a change of pace, or played as a campaign of it's own, this is a flexible book.
A brief overview of the undead in general is followed series of escalating mini-adventures, culminating with a Lich Lord.
Unusual and sought after book which has contributions from many of the top designers of the day.

FR3 Forgotten Realms - Empires Of The Sands
A very early expansion to the Forgotten Realms setting, Empire of the Sand introduces the desert kingdoms of Amn, Tethyr & Calishan.
Great detail on the politics, history, languages and creatures of these lands are included.
Originally packaged with 2 fold out maps that joined with those in the main campaign box set, these are sadly missing.
The 2 smaller, pull out maps are present as are all the pull out character sheets.

Designed either as one short, one session stand alone adventures or to drop into an existing campaign.
All levels and types of adventure are covered here - dungeon crawls, puzzles, even comedy...
A hugely useful book for any Realms DM to have in the armoury.
This copy is excellent, some very minor creasing to the cover only. Internally bright and solid.
Forgotten Realms - The Moonsea
Detailed guide to The Moonsea region of the Faerun, home to the infamous Zhentil Keep.
This accessory is comprised of a 64 page DMs reference guide and a 32 page player's guide and a fold out map.
A nice deep dive into a small region, presented as a Bard's journal of his travels through the area.
This copy is missing the fold-out map.
Other than that it's pretty good, some coffee stains on the player's guide, but no worse.
Forgotten Realms - The Horde, Volume 1
This 64 page book was originally part of the 1990 campaign box The Horde, a barbarian campaign set in the Endless Wastes of Faerun.
This first book provides detail of the geographic, historic and social overview of the Endless Wastes.
It provides a broad picture allowing the DM bring the wastes into any Forgotten Realms campaign.
Condition is very good, a couple of very minor creases and the remains of a sticker on the cover, nothing else.
Forgotten Realms - Dwarves Deep
This 64 page book is all you will ever need to venture into the Dwarf mines of Faerun.
Published in 1990 it comes with an A1 sized fold out map of The Deep Realms.
Details of Dwarven life plus unique skills, spells, items and clans plus maps of all the major mines.
This copy is in very nice condition, apart from some damage to the back cover where it has stuck to something in the past.
Other than that and a little rust on the staples, it's in great shape, the map is lovely!
Forgotten Realms - Ruins Of Zhentil Keep
This is the 128 page Campaign Book from the 1995 box set of the same name.
The book contains the detailed history and present condition, contents and creatures of the infamous Zhentil Keep.
The original box contained a separate adventure book, but this is the main source book for the campaign.
If you have a party wandering the Realms, this book will really give them a challenge!
SOLD

It's an over-sized tri-fold cover (23cm x 31.5cm) containing a 32 page book and 2 fold out maps.
The maps overlap to produce a complete map of continent.
This is a very rare piece which pre dates the box set release by 3 years.

Each adventure stands alone and they cater for character from 4th all the way up to 18th level.
This copy is in lovely condition, a couple of tiny crease on the spine are the only notable defects.
Mystara - Hollow World Player's Guide
Mystara is one of the lesser known campaign settings, an early, slightly generic world of 3 continents.
What made it more interesting was that it was a hollow world, with parallel civilizations living within.
This 64 page Player's Guide details the playable and non-playable races on the inner surface.
New character classes and whole new civilizations...
Originally part of the Dungeons & Dragons (not AD&D) Hollow World box set from 1990, which contained 3 books and 4 maps.
These are incredibly hard to find these days as sales were poor 30 years ago!
This book is in very nice condition, minor scuffs only.
Ravenloft - Darklords
This 1991 book gives you the detail and background of 16 of the most notable denizens of Ravenloft.
Mummies, vampires, banshees and headless horsemen are all here.

As with all Ravenloft material these adventures are gothic horror stories in the classic tradition.

The book itself is in good shape, a couple of crease to the back cover are the worst of it.

An excellent and in depth dive into Forlorn, a region of Ravenloft.
Loads of atmospheric locations and dozens of NPCs both good and evil.
A great expansion to Ravenloft, even without the rest of the box set.
This copy is in excellent condition.
Shaman
1995 2nd Edition accessory introduces the Shaman character class.
This 96 page book gives you a whole new class, with it's own powers, spells, skills and feats.
